Falls from height are a major cause of injury and death when working on roofs within Australia. Safe Work Australia and Safe Work NSW define high risk work on roofs as any work completed at 2m and higher.
Duty of Care
AusStyle Roofing work with professional scaffolding and roof perimeter (safety perimeter roof rail) companies to ensure that the risk of injury to AusStyle Roofing team members and those where the roofing work is undertaken is reduced. Where edge protection is not reasonably practical, harness-based restraint system or fall arrest system to be used.
During site inspection the best edge protection will be determined.
